Hiked over Kearsarge Pass and down to Onion Valley. So from late yesterday we are off JMT and hiking out for a rest day and a bucket of food. Kearsarge is not an easy passand I am a bit unhappy that we have to do it twice. We have to wait around for a few hours in the rain waiting for a ride to hotel. We have lunch (Mexican rice and beans I think, which isn't best choice because we will eat at glens taqueria for next 2 days in Independence, CA). We started this section 9 Days ago with our heaviest load out. We nearly hiked out after getting sick and I've counted every mile to get here and rest but just like Conan we became stronger and survived the wheel of pain. Feels like Indestructible by Disturbed.
